If a previous earlobe piercing has a “stretched-out” appearance or has been torn through the earlobe completely, we can perform a repair in the office under local anesthesia. Sutures will be removed in about a week and the ears may be re-pierced in six weeks. Clip-on or magnetic earrings may be worn at two weeks after the procedure.
